Honda’s BF150 large displacement 2354cc engine includes cutting edge advantages that leave this engine in a league of its own. Advantages include easy adjust Dual Overhead Cams - the powerful, compact 2.4 litre, DOHC, design creates more valve lift to pull in more air for increased horsepower.

Also included is Honda’s exclusive VTEC technology and Lean Burn Feedback control to give you maximum efficiency at every speed and the Dual Stage Induction system which allows it to pull in more air and deliver top performance at low and high speeds.

The new 3-Way Cooling System keeps the cylinder head cooler for long term durability. The belt-driven High Output "On Demand" 40 Amp Charging System will make sure the batteries stay charged. The Programmed Electronic Fuel Injection delivers the precise amount of fuel/air to each cylinder, resulting in instant throttle response with superior fuel efficiency.

VTEC Technology

Available on the BF150 and derived from our racing heritage, Honda’s Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control system (VTEC) achieves the best of both worlds by utilising mild cam lobes to operate the intake valves at low RPM-then, at 4,500 RPM, engaging a “high output” cam lobe for high RPM operation, ensuring smooth power delivery throughout the engine’s entire operating range.
