Honda Takes Out ADB Manufacturer’s Award in SX Titles

4 December 2008 - Consistent performances by top ten factory and supported riders including Daniel Reardon, Daniel McCoy, Nathan Crawford, Brent Landman and US import Jeremy McGrath throughout the inaugural Australian Super X Championships resulted in Honda claiming the ADB Manufacturers' Cup for the spectacular seven round series.

The win backs up Honda’s success in the manufacturer’s test at this year’s Motocross Championships where the CRF450R also won the prestigious ADB Cup in the Pro Open class.

The two awards are clearly a reflection of the success of the CRF450R as the weapon of choice for many riders, according to Honda’s General Manager, Motorcycles, Tony Hinton.

“The CRF450R has continued to impress this year, and the latest upgrades to improve its handling are very evident on the smaller, tighter supercross tracks,” Hinton said.

“Winning the ADB Cup for both major series this year is fantastic and a real nod of achievement to the riders out there opting to compete on our bikes.”

Honda riders finished overall in four of the top ten positions at the end of the five state spectacle.
