Honda Offers MX Riders More

12 September 2008 – To compliment the release of the awesome 2009 motocross range, Honda is throwing in a fantastic tool box kit valued at $799.

Customers who purchase a 2009 year model CRF150RB, CRF150R, CRF450R or CRF250R from now until 31 December 2008, will also receive a 9 drawer tool box, a T-Bar set and rack, aluminium ramp, tie wire pliers, tyre levers, double sided exhaust bung and an allen key set.

The CRF450R remains dominant in its class and has received a complete overhaul for 2009 including the addition of electronic fuel injection and a significant reduction in weight that makes this championship winning machine even more formidable.

The new compact and lightweight engine churns out more than 120 hp per litre to produce power across a wide rpm band for easy to control operation while auto decompression and a hot restart system make starting easy in all conditions. The new sub frame allows the muffler to be mounted further forward to keep the ride as smooth as possible.

Like its bigger brother, the CRF250R offers a twin-sump lubrication system that separates the oil for the crankshaft, piston and valve train for the clutch and transmission. The bike’s carburettor features new-styled accelerator pump and linkage for improved throttle response, while the clutch basket features increased thickness for additional strength.

In keeping with the revolutionary CRF450R and CRF250R, Honda’s new 150cc 4-stroke machines are destined to redefine the small displacement motocross category. What you will find inside the bikes’ lightweight steel frame is a compact yet powerful engine that produces impressive power across a wide rpm range for easy to control operation.
