Come along and see the Road Racing Stars of the Future for $10

mRRdaThe MRRDA is extending the opportunity to all motorcycle club and association members to be able to enjoy watching a day of racing for as little as $10 entry for adults.

All you need to do is come out to Oran Park on Sunday 13th April, present your club membership card at the gate and entry will only cost you $10.

The new Junior class sees racing of the Honda CBR150 control bike. There are limited modifications allowed to these bikes, so it’s all down to the rider to make the difference. That makes for some pretty spectacular racing as these kids vie for the ultimate prize, which is a spot in the Red Bull Rookies Cup trials, a spot on the grid in the Asean cup in Japan or a Honda supported Moriwaki MD250H grand prix bike.

Other classes include 125 Grand Prix, which has been traditionally the starting point for many road racers. This year sees a number of last years Juniors stepping up to this class and already they are giving some of the regulars a good run for their money. The ever popular 400 class returns again for this year, with the state of origin battle, full grids and tight racing. It is always action packed. And finally, the 250 Grand Prix and MRRDA 250 class, these are the pure thoroughbred race machines.

The gates open at 7.30am with warm up commencing at 9.00am and racing starting at approximately 10.00am. Spectators are also invited to have a look around the pits and see some of these race bikes up close. This year’s series going to TV will only add to the atmosphere.
