The Course in All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) Riding 21669 Vic aims to provide operators with the knowledge and skills to be able to ride an ATV in a safe and responsible manner using correct techniques to perform all normal manoeuvres. The course is conducted over one day with approximately 6 hours of instruction, practice and assessment. HART have trained over 700 riders since developing the course in 2000.
Every employer has a duty of care responsibility for staff, and riding an ATV vehicle off road is no exception. The course provides for the development and assessment of the knowledge, skills and attitudes of people wishing to ride ATV™s in a correct, safe and responsible manner for recreation or business purposes in a wide range of off road environments.
To satisfy these demands we offer this Nationally Recognised training course which covers employer™s Occupationally Health & Safety responsibilities in regards to œproviding employees with information, instruction, training or supervision needed for them to work safely and without risk to their health?. (Taken from OH&S Act 2004). After successful completion of the course you will be issued with a statement of attainment that is nationally recognised.
Even if you only ride for leisure, this course will teach you the correct and safe way to ride an ATV so that you can enjoy and get the most out of your ATV. All terrain vehicles can be a lot of fun, but without proper training they can also be hazardous.
The cost of the course is $300 per person or $350 if an ATV is supplied by HART. All students must have their own to ride and be 16years of age and over. Special arrangements can be made for sessions for groups of 4 or more on your own property provided certain conditions are met. Scheduled Classes run from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
